On a lighter note, yesterday and last night I was thankful for our new mattress! Caleb talked me into ordering a new mattress online from Leesa. It's a memory foam mattress that costs less than conventional mattresses, has a 10 year warranty, and is delivered to your door. We also have a 100 day trial and if we don't like it, we get a 100% refund.
It arrived yesterday, rolled-up and vacuum sealed in a box. As soon as we broke the vacuum seal, it started expanding, and after just 4-5 hours we could sleep on it. I'm not a huge fan of memory foam, but this didn't feel like others I've tried. I'm really hopeful that it will be good for my back, but honestly anything has to be better than the old mattress we had, which had what I call the "cuddle pit" in the middle where it sinks in.
The first night was pretty good, and it should firm up/expand even more today (it said it takes a full 24 hours to fully expand). This is our first *new* mattress we've ever had - look at us adulting!

I'll be curious to read your review on this mattress in a few weeks/months. I like the idea of memory foam, but a new mattress can be pricey and a risk if you're not sure about the style.
Curious also about how you'd return it if you didn't like it! Would they just come and pick it up?
