Thankful Days 15-17

11/15 - On Thursday I was thankful for new friends. One of my newer friends went with me to the Twilight Marathon, where we watched all five Twilight movies in the theater from noon - midnight. It was awesome!! I'm so glad that I have new friends in the Des Moines/Ames area to do fun things with.

11/16 - On Friday I'll say I was thankful for coffee. I am pretty new on the coffee-loving train, and I still doctor it up quite a bit with milk, creamer, sugar, etc., but it's a big step for me! On Thursday I had my first fancy coffee from Starbucks - Peppermint Mocha. Loved it so much I got another one on Saturday. Uh oh...

11/17 - On Saturday I was thankful for the great weather when we ran the Living History Farms Race! It was my fourth year straight of running it, and as always, it was really fun. And of course, the beef stew and apple cider at the end were AMAZING!
