Thankful Day 6

11/6 - I am going to echo my sister-in-law in saying I am thankful for the progress our society has made towards gender equality, thanks to the strong women who came before us, and the men who were "man" enough [ahem] to stand up with them.

While it's clear to all who read this what my political views are, every election provides an opportunity to stand up and fight for women's rights, support the advances already made, and initiate and continue the progress that still needs to be made. As a woman, I feel that one side is clearly fighting for women's rights to autonomy over their bodies and equality in the workplace and society in general.
