Thankful Days 1-3

I need to get back into the habit of posting regularly on my blog, so I am going to join the bandwagon and do the thing where you say one thing you're thankful for each day in November. So here goes...

11/1 - I am thankful that I finished my first marathon. I still need to post about it, but it was really difficult for me, and I had to take some time to come to terms with the fact that it didn't go just the way I wanted it to. But I did it, and I can be proud of that now. It's such an amazing accomplishment and I still sometimes have a hard time believing that it happened, because it kind of feels like a dream.

11/2 - I am thankful for my health. I was sick on 11/1, and feeling better by 11/2, but it reminded me that I need to get back to my normal healthy eating and regular exercise. I have been pretty side tracked since the marathon, and I really need to get back in the habit of being healthy before the holidays roll around.

11/3 - Today I am thankful for my dad! He turned 55 today and I was lucky enough to be able to see him after the ISU football game. Happy Birthday Dad!
