Proud

And the pendulum swings...

Today I am really proud of myself. After an hour-long Boot Camp workout (today was arms, back, and abs), we measured our body fat percentage. I was expecting an improvement from the last time I was measured, in 2009, before I lost any weight. At that time, I was about 15 pounds heavier, and my body fat percentage was around 28-29%.

But this time... wow! The trainer measured me today at 15.3%! I almost halved my body fat percentage! He said that is even low for a female athlete... the bottom of the healthy range, before you get into essential fats (the ones you need to live), is 13-14%, according to one chart I saw.

I'm pretty excited about this. Being the ever-perfectionist, I always think I have more to lose, or tone, or flatten, or whatever. I don't think I'll ever let that go, but it's nice to take a moment and just be proud of where I am. Good job, me.
