11/24-11/30

11/24
For this day, I'm thankful for the grandparents I still have, and the fact that I had all four grandparents for almost 26 years of my life. Unfortunately, that is something many people are not able to have.

11/25
I'm thankful that we live fairly close to family. We considered moving farther away a few years ago, but I enjoy where we're at now - not too close, but close enough that it's not hard to come back! I am always especially thankful when there are things we need to rush home for - unfortunately in the past few years it's been for our grandpas passing away, but I was glad to be as close as we were so we were able to see each of them before they passed.

11/26
I'm thankful for the McFee side of the family. We had a fun Thanksgiving at my Aunt Joanie's house and got to see everyone but one cousin and her daughter. Kim and I were the only cousins on my mom's side of the family for around 12 years or so, so the McFee side was always so fun with all our cousins.

11/27
I'm thankful I found a new Christmas tree on sale for Black Friday. I didn't do much shopping at all that day, but this was a good find.

11/28
I'm thankful for our nieces, Ruby and Opal, and nephew, Nathan. They are so fun and smart and silly. It's always fun to go back to see them, and it feels so good that they love to have us over to play with them.

11/29
I'm thankful for having some downtime to clean the house a bit, put of Christmas decorations, cook, shop for groceries, do laundry, etc.... I love Sundays because we usually use them to get things in order for the week ahead, which always helps my mental state!

11/30
I'm thankful for Cyber Monday shopping.... I got many gifts with good deals for the kids and feel a lot better about Christmas shopping now.

And now it's December and full-on Christmas time!! Yay!
