But anyway, here's some random thoughts/updates on what's been going on lately...
- My joint pain in my fingers and toes is back. I went to my doctor, who put me on a steroid cream for the external bumps, and glucosamine for the joint pain. The cream worked, but the initial high daily dose of glucosamine (1500 mg) made me dizzy and nauseous. I'm only taking 500 mg daily now, and the pain isn't as severe, but I don't know if it's the glucosamine or it just getting better with time.
- I let my chiropractor know about my joint pain, and he wanted to look at my diet to see if that factored into it. I had to do a food diary for a week, which included reporting the number and consistency of bowel movements, and send it to him to review. Needless to say, I am totally embarrassed and realize that I need to improve my eating habits.
- I also made cookie dough to eat last week. Cookie dough, not cookies. That was not a great part of my food diary.
- My statistics class is going ok, and I am not feeling too overwhelmed this semester. I'm enjoying the break from lots of reading and paper writing.
- I have decided to add Women's Studies as my emphasis to my Masters in Public Administration. I need to gather my thesis committee and work with them on my course choices, but I feel really good about the decision and the direction my education is going.
- I have decided to do a Tough Mudder this year. We are planning on doing the one in Kansas City this September. I'm ready for a new challenge this year!
- Our neighbors are the cutest. I can't wait to meet more of them when the weather gets nicer!

- Caleb and I went to the Book of Mormon a while ago at the Des Moines Civic Center, and it was awesome! We spotted this crazy lady at the show.... as Caleb put it, "She don't give a FUCK." haha

| Yes, that is Spongebob and Patrick the starfish on her hat. Her husband had matching headgear. It was awesome. |

No complaints about the cookie dough from me.
I also made cookie dough this weekend... and froze most of it. But I'm going to have to bake them... I GUESS!
The play was great. Paul and I must rememeber to wear matching head great next time we go to a musical. I need to start shopping now for something quite clever!
