Feel the Love

Things are going much better this week. The two Development Officers that I support are traveling, and the office is quiet and I am getting caught up on a lot of work. I still do have my large homework load from my two classes, but I am figuring out my schedule and how to handle the work.

As referenced in my last post, one thing I am extremely thankful for is the support of my husband. For some reason, his gift of flowers and candy last week really made it present in my mind how much he supports me, especially with going back to school. He has never questioned my decision to pursue a Master’s degree, considers my tuition one of our financial priorities, encourages me when I’m feeling overwhelmed and pushes me when I try to procrastinate instead of study. J He has also been great about helping with things I used to primarily choose to do myself, such as laundry and grocery shopping.

Last night as we were falling asleep, he told me that he was proud of me for working hard all day, going to class and doing homework, working out and eating healthy. He said he realizes how much I really do. It made me feel so good to hear “I’m proud of you,” and be recognized for my hard work.

Thank you to everyone else out there – friends and family – who also support me. I think that being grateful and realizing how much I really have has helped me get through some stress lately. I’m feeling loved….

PS: I also love Caleb for sending me pictures of cute kitties when I am sad or stressed. Always makes me smile.
