Proud

Lately I've been kind of beating myself up, never feeling like I'm doing enough - at work, for school, eating healthy, exercising, losing weight, etc. So I decided to write a post about what I'm proud about, even if it's the little things:

I am proud that I...
  • Woke up at 5:00 AM this morning to run 4 miles. It wasn't the 5 miles I hoped for, but it was better than sleeping in.
  • Packed broccoli slaw with chickpeas for lunch today.
  • Finished a wicked-hard boot camp yesterday.
  • Have eaten well all week, except for last night.
  • Signed up for the GRE, so it will motivate me to STUDY!
  • Am going back to school.
  • Volunteer at the women's shelter.
  • Am known as a runner. When a friend at work asked our athletic trainer about training to run a half marathon, he referred her to me for guidance.
  • Embrace my healthier lifestyle. I definitely am nowhere near perfect, but I normally eat healthy and work out regularly, which is a huge improvement from a few years ago.
  • Keep a clean house.
  • Can be more spontaneous and am not so afraid of change.
  • Save my money.
  • Have new friends in our new area.
  • Chose an excellent spouse that I love and admire.
  • Read books that are good for me, along with some "fun reads".
  • Enjoy trying new foods, especially healthy ones.
  • Work for a place I believe in.
  • Am known as a hard worker.
  • Can remain positive even when frustrated.

Man...are you sure you're not Catholic? I swear you've got some guilt going on there, and you're living such a squeeky clean lifestyle? Lighten up Francis! Don't be so hard on yourself. Your sposed to be young and having fun. So live well, but have a good time doing it!
