Happy List

I really need to change my attitude for this week. Last week was a lot of complaining and stress, and I really hate that work stress can carry over and affect other parts of my life.

So let's make a list of happy things for me:

  • Lost, Season 1 – one more episode to go!
  • Grey’s Anatomy Soundtrack
  • Eating more fruits and vegetables lately – fresh fruit, even!
  • Sugar Free French Vanilla Coffee Mix stuff – I don’t drink coffee, so this is my alternative in the mornings
  • Diet Dr. Pepper with Cherry
  • Bird’s Eye Vegetable Steamer Mixes
  • Being able to run again
  • Making progress for going remote – and getting a new work computer!
  • Warm weather (minus uber-humidity)
  • Awesome boyfriend – doesn’t take crap from me, but is there for me when things are crappy
  • Getting things arranged in our house in Clear Lake
  • New season of Weeds
  • 3 day weekend coming up
  • Maybe boating with the fam on the 4th?
  • New haircut – barely brushes my shoulders. I like it a lot, and can style it already.
  • Painted toenails
  • Having Joan’s house to myself tonight
  • Having a mom that understands what I’m going through with work stress
  • Honey Moon (Summer Blue Moon variety) is finally out! I need to pick some up, with oranges…
  • Planning a trip to Denver with Tara, to visit Andrea and Amy
  • Getting to see my (almost) nephew Nathan this weekend. He’s 13 months old and so fun.
  • Having my dad grill me a hot dog this weekend. Charred black, with cheese and lots of ketchup, just like I like it.

that's so funny that you like charred hot dogs. i will not even touch those gross things but that's how my pa cooks em! i prefer my dogs boiled.
