Work It!

Along with my moving plans, I have also made new workout plans. I've gotten pretty lazy right before and after Jamaica, so I need to step it up. My plan is to be able to run 3 miles straight by May 30. If I'm still in Des Moines, I want to run the Dam-to-Dam 5k race. Running a 5k is on my bucket list, so I figure I should do it sooner than later.

I have also included working up to doing 400 crunches/ab moves per day, but running is my ultimate goal. Here is my actual workout plan, with weekly goals:


My only concern with my plan is that my egg retrieval is right in the middle of it. I'm not sure how sore that will make me for running afterwards.... I just hope I don't get behind. But one good thing is that along with my personal workout plan, my roommates and I have decided to help each other eat healthier by cooking healthy meals together. Leslie even bought a Weight Watchers cookbook at the Planned Parenthood book sale last night. Next week, once Joan is back from Florida, we can start our new healthy quest.
