Things are going well. I like my new job so far. The people are really nice and I’m already invited to like 40 holiday parties between the Foundation and the College of Business (ok, so it’s actually more like five parties, but it still seems like a lot). I like being on campus and in the Gerdin Building, where I was for a lot of my last two years at ISU.
I am partly moved into our condo in Ankeny, and we are moving the big furniture in tomorrow. I can’t wait to see how the place looks with furniture in it and after I put some stuff on the walls. I do need to rein myself in with any purchases, though, as we are not planning to stay at this place for long. It will also be great to be unpacked and feel a little more settled.
I need to make sure I work on my final paper for my class though – 20 pages due on December 16! Then I am home free… until January when my next class starts.
